You wake up at 6:30, grab your phone, check your socials and then…It’s suddenly 8:30!
Where did the time go?!?
Social media is such a great tool for connecting people all over the world and sharing ideas but…
It’s also a TRAP….A TIME TRAP!
You get on it and you tell yourself you’re going to just have a quick check, but then you get distracted by a funny video, or a comment thread, then before you know it, hours pass, you’ve lost time in the studio and you think to yourself….
“Oh well. I might as well just not bother today.”
This then creates a backlog on your music, your day to day responsibilities and it can lead to extra studio overwhelm later on.
In this episode, I share with you some key strategies that I use to help you moderate your social media use so you will be able to save a bunch of time. Time you can use to focus on building and progressing in your music.
Key Takeaways:
- “The quality of your life is dictated by the quality of the questions you ask”
- Limit your post and comments
- Don’t feed your social media habit!
- Turn off your notifications.
- Avoid the controversial stuff
- The importance of rationing your time on social media
