PERFECTIONISM!
We’ve all at one point suffered from this belief that everything we need to do and put out in the world needs to be perfect.
So we say things like:
“I don’t want to put this out there because it’s not perfect.”
“This track is still missing something so I need to keep working on it.”
“Everything is great but I think the drums can be better.”
STOP!
It doesn’t. It’s just perfectionism tightening its grip on you and holding you back from achieving the best version of yourself and your music.
So in this episode, I’m going to be sharing with you a new perspective on perfectionism or any other fears that are holding you back so you can go full steam ahead towards reaching your goals and hitting the targets that you’ve set for yourself with music.
Key Takeaways:
- “Striving for perfectionism doesn’t get us to our goal”
- The more music you finish, the more chance you will succeed!
- “By holding onto this belief, I’m creating the very problem that I’m trying to stay safe from. “
