Ever find your drums are lacking the kind of groove and swing often heard in your favourite tracks?
Rather than reaching straight for your library’s groove pool, this technique uses the power of the triplet grid to create and experiment with bumpy grooves perfect for house, garage and many other dance genres.
Whilst I’ve used a hat and snare here, you can apply this technique to all sorts of drums like shakers, claps and percussion – the sky is the limit!
